PhD Artemi Cerdà

Artemi Cerdà develops his research on soil hydrology and soil erosion since 1989. Along the 90s his research focussed on forest soils hydrology and the impact of forest fire. After 2000, he moved to investigate on agriculture soils affected by high erosion rates, and in the last 10 years he shifted his research to find solution to the environmental problems on agriculture and forest land. As leader of SEDER he is involved in local, regional, national and international research projects and publications. He is teaching Geography and Environmental Sciences and developed a teaching program for senior students (geograns). The scientific view of Artemi Cerdà is based in experimental geomorphology, hydrology and soil science.
